Training Policy

Withington Child Contact Centre is NACCC accredited.  This means all volunteers have to complete the mandatory NACCC volunteer training, and the Centre Coordinator has to complete the mandatory NACCC coordinator training.

Details of the training and training requirements are available from NACCC.  Additionally, as part of the requirements for volunteering in the Methodist Church, safeguarding training provided by the church must be undertaken. This has to be repeated every 4 years.

A training record will be kept for each volunteer, stating which modules were completed on which dates.

This policy is reviewed annually and was last reviewed in March 2024.
