Withington Child Contact Centre states its intention to follow the practice of equal treatment in volunteering, service provision, committee structure and membership. The aim of our policy is to ensure that no-one receives less favourable treatment on grounds of race, skin colour, ethnic origin, religion, cultural beliefs, nationality, national origin, gender, sexuality, age, status or physical or mental disability. Our policy also aims to ensure that no-one is disadvantaged by conditions or requirements which cannot be shown to be reasonably justifiable.

Within the limits of the premises we operate from, we will ensure that families with physical disabilities are given an equal opportunity to use the Contact Centre

Volunteering opportunities are open to anyone over the age of 16.

Volunteers will exercise thoughtfulness and care to avoid stereotyping of individuals and groups

Any racist or other offensive remarks or behaviour will not be tolerated. It will always be challenged and dealt with appropriately
